Jaejoong (JYJ) delivers an eye-catching presentation for ‘Protect the Boss’
JYJ’s Jaejoong recently stunned his co-stars and production crew by pulling off an impressive presentation scene for SBS’s ‘Protect the Boss‘.
Considered as the ‘prince of the financial world’, Jaejoong plays the role of the director of headquarters, ‘Cha Moo Won’. Mid-July, he had to record a scene where his character was to give a professional presentation during a meeting.
Although the script was filled with professional terms that he wasn’t familiar with, Jaejoong spent every spare moment he had to pick apart and analyze each term in order to better understand his script.
What surprised staff the most was that he didn’t make one NG once the cue sign was made from PD Son Jung Hyun. One representative said, “Jaejoong received a round of applause from staff after completing his world tour, which he directed, from April through June. That same passion and sincerity is being reflected in this drama.”
‘Protect the Boss’ will begin airing on August 3rd.

[DRAMA] ‘Protect the Boss’ releases two official posters
SBS’s upcoming drama, ‘Protect the Boss‘, has revealed its two official posters!
The first version features all four of the main actors, who pose in a way to best bring out their character’s charms; meanwhile, the second version features Ji Sung and Choi Kang Hee in comedic poses.
Choi Kang Hee plays the role of ‘Noh Eun Sul’, the new secretary to the rebellious son of a conglomerate, ‘Cha Ji Hun’ (played by Ji Sung). JYJ’s Jaejoong plays the role of ‘Cha Moo Won’, who’s considered the ‘prince of the financial world’, and Wang Ji Hye plays the role of ‘Seo Na Yoon’, a perfectionist lawyer who completes the love lines between the four characters.
The second poster was done as a parody of the movie “The Devil Wears Prada” by showing a fed-up secretary taking charge over the actions of her boss.
The drama will begin airing on August 3rd at 9:55 PM KST.

Jaejoong (JYJ) shares a comical photo in a suit

JYJ member Jaejoong shared a comical photo of himself via Twitter with the humorous caption, “Everybody smile! Boss with his legs spread wide.”
Looking quite dapper in a full suit, Jaejoong is seated on and with a chair in between his legs, reminiscent of Son Dambi’s ‘Crazy‘ performances.
Netizens commented, “You’re more flexible than I expected, ” “What are you thinking about?” “You look so handsome even with such a funny pose,” and “Please show us Son Dambi’s ‘Crazy’ dance.”

[DRAMA] « Protect the Boss » still-cuts and posters
We’ve got posters and character promo stills out for SBS’s « Protect the Boss, » and I have to say that this drama is slowly growing on me with what appears to be an offbeat, wacky vibe. It just may be quirky enough to work.
In contrast to the typical chaebol hero and the boss-secretary setup (Ji Sung and Choi Kang Hee, respectively), this looks like no typical K-Drama setup, and no typical chaebol. Instead of being the coolly perfect businessman we’ve become so familiar with in dramas, this hero’s kooky and eccentric, while she literally kicks ass. The plot unfolds as she undertakes Project Tame The Errant Boss, and romance ensues.
The poster above takes on the bodyguard concept, which is made funnier by the implication that Choi Kang Hee is shielding her boss from work. Given that Ji Sung’s character is an inept boss, no doubt he considers that protection. Heh.
Acting as spoilers are Jaejoong as Ji Sung’s rival cousin and diametric opposite — he’s sharp, smart, and competent — and Wang Ji Hye as a lawyer and secondary love interest.
The drama premieres on August 3, following « City Hunter. »
